Auto insurance, shopped across carriers
One agent, several markets. Multi-car households, teen drivers, and records that aren't spotless — we know which carriers price those fairly instead of declining them.
Most carriers price auto better when the home policy sits with them. If you own, send both and we'll compare bundled against separate.

Liability
Pays for damage and injuries you cause to other people. This is the part state law requires — and the part most people carry too little of.
Collision
Repairs your car after a crash, minus your deductible. Your deductible is the amount you pay first before the carrier pays the rest.
Comprehensive
Everything that isn't a collision: theft, hail, fire, a deer, a tree branch. Also deductible-based.
Uninsured / underinsured motorist
Covers you when the other driver has no insurance, or not enough of it. Inexpensive, and it does real work.
Medical payments / PIP
Medical bills for you and your passengers regardless of fault. Required in some states, optional in others.
Rental & roadside
A car while yours is in the shop, and a tow when you need one. Small add-ons that get noticed on a bad day.
What people get wrong
Minimums haven't kept up with what cars and ER visits cost. One at-fault accident can pass your limit and reach your savings.
Full coverage isn't a real product. It usually means liability plus collision and comprehensive — and says nothing about how high your limits are.
Carriers re-rate whole states at once. The one that was cheapest three years ago often isn't now.

Auto questions
Can you write me if I have an accident or a ticket?
Usually yes. Carriers weigh incidents very differently, which is exactly where shopping several markets pays off.
I have a teen driver. How bad is it?
It's a real increase, but the spread between carriers is wide. Good-student and driver-training credits help, and which car they're assigned to matters.
Do I need a VIN to get a quote?
No. Year, make, and model gets us close. We need the VIN to bind.
How fast can coverage start?
Often the same day. If you need proof of insurance for a dealership or a lender, tell us the deadline and we'll work to it.
Send me your current auto policy.
I'll shop it and tell you straight what came back — including if you should keep what you have.
